Product: HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ee0023dx
Issue: Computer not taking charge. Computer not turning on.
Attempted solution:
- Accessed internal battery to disconnect.
- Held down power for 20 seconds.
- Plugged in AC adapter.
- White charging light turned on.
- White power light also turned on.
- Although the power light was on, the computer did not power up.
- After a few minutes both lights turned off.
Attempted Solution:
- Followed same steps above with one difference
- Difference: reconnected battery before plugging in AC adapter.
- Same results.
Is this a battery issue? Trying to determine if I should purchase a new battery before taking it in for service.
