Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.
MKazi is at your service.
I understand that you have an HP Envy x360 series laptop and are unable to remove the battery to perform a hard reset on the laptop. I read that the laptop does not power on.
The battery is integrated into the laptop and cannot be removed like in other laptop models as other laptops have a battery release latch. The only way to remove the battery out is by opening the laptop case which is not required right now.
You per perform a hard reset by not removing the battery out:
- Disconnect the charger from the laptop.
- Press and hold the power button on the laptop for 10 seconds.
- Reconnect the charger and check if it powers on.
Also check if there is a light on the laptop where the charger connects. If there is no light then connect it to a different wall outlet.
If the issue persists then please contact our HP phone support team to check the available service options for your laptop. The phone support team can be contacted via this link: www.hp.com/contacthp
Hope this information helps. Keep me posted for further assistance.
Good luck! 🙂

Thank you for your reply.
I read that the orange light blinks only 3 times and then goes off.
So most likely the charger or the motherboard has a hardware issue. It would be a good idea to contact our HP phone support team to explore any available service options. The phone support team can be contacted via this link: https://hp.care/2uJxnug
Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.
All the best! 🙂
