I have an old HP G62 with factory OS as Windows 7 recently i wanted to install Windows 10 on it. After creating a bootable USB with rufus tool, I tried booting from USB but it didn't work. I read around and saw that the secureBoot options need to be disabled.. It is an old laptop and i have no secureBoot option in my bios and no UEFI option either. Also i disable fastboot.

Hi

Does have a DVD/USB method on the page, which eliminates any mis-match that Rufus may cause.
If in doubt please ask.

Hi
So far we have no point of reference.
IE: A USB made with Rufus and one made with Microsoft.
Your Boot sequence may be a factor.
