After a Windows "Firmware" update, laptop boots to black screen (LED backlight is on, however). I've tried every suggestion I've seen online. Win+B, Win+V, USB BIOS fix drive, etc. I cannot make any headway. Any suggestions are appreciated!

There's either a typo in your link, or the page doesn't exist. Could you check the link and resend it? Many thanks!
But I will say that if it's the article that says anything about using the Win + B, Win + V, or a USB bootable Bios drive, I've already done that, and it doesn't work. I've tried 4 different versions of BIOS, too...
EDIT: I removed the "si-en" part of your link, and it is, indeed, the article I was referring to. I've poured over that article, and tried every single thing on it. None of that works. I get either a 500, 501, or 502 error, depending on what's going on... I'm afraid I'm all out of ideas!
