Hi, can someone tell me what this blink code means please. Its the caps lock LED that flashes on for a second then off for a second three times, rests for a couple of seconds then starts again.
The laptop won't boot up at all, the screen stays black. I've tried it on a second screen but same problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @BenMellor,
Thank you for your reply !!!
Either of the one could be faulty, Its rare that both Memory modules fail at the same time.
You will have take out the memory module one by one and check if you get the error/Blink.

HP 8570p, I have the same problem, the black screen at boot. No HP logo or BIOS, five times blink Caps Lock and Num Lock, then the fan works quickly and nothing happens. I've tried all the tips from the internet but it does not help. Is this in the case of a motherboard or a graphics chip?
