HP Envy x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 16-ac0000 (8Z200AV)

Hello HP,

I have an HP Envy x360 16-ac0023dx.

Today in class, the screen went black while I was using the laptop for schoolwork. It was charged, but the screen would not come back on. I ended up turning the laptop off and back on, and it would not boot up.

Now I'm having this issue:
-Turning on the laptop, the white power LED turns on and stays solid, and the fan runs for about 30 seconds or so, but the screen does not turn on (no backlight or anything), keyboard backlights don't turn on, caps lock LED doesn't turn on, and no sounds from the laptop. After about 30 seconds, the fan turns off but everything else stays the same.

-Plugging in the laptop, the orange charge LED will come on like normal and when fully charged will change to white. Plugged in or not has no effect on the laptop not turning on.

-I hooked the laptop to an external monitor via HDMI, but even then, the external monitor just says 'no signal'.

-I've held the power button for 30 seconds to try to reset, I've held windows + B while powering on, I've held windows + V while powering on, I've let the laptop battery drain completely and then plugged it back in and tried again, no matter what I do, the laptop will not boot.

It is unfortunately around 5 months past warranty, but I spent $700 on this laptop only around 17 or so months ago for school and can't afford to do that again. I am really needing it to work as today started a 25-credit term for me.

Anything else I can try? Any way HP could do an out-of-warranty goodwill repair?

Any and all help is appreciated, thanks so much in advance
