HP Pavilion - 15-cs3023ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Pavillon Laptop that needs a repair USB tool to restore or reset my unit back to the Manufacturers initial settings.

Processor type:  Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1065G7 CPU @ 1.30GHz ;       Bios Revision: F.18 ;    System Board  ID : 86E2

When I purchased this unit (May 2020) from Costco, no recovery CD or USB was given with unit.  How can I get or create a proper restoration tool?  I have back up my files and created a Windows 10 64-Bit Repair disk.  But then it says I need to create an System Image USB or CD which I am unable to realize as my USB in not in proper NST?  format

Can anyone recommend what I could try or do to activate?

Any assistance or recommendations would really be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.

If you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

Your PC's product number is:  7YZ62UA#ABL
