I have an HP Mini 210-1091NR. When I turn it on, the Capslock light is on blue, and the fan comes on, but nothing happens. I checked CMOS batter and it has 3.2 volts (Good) and then I changed memory module with a known good module. Now it turns on, blue light thats on power switch is lit, fan runs, but nothing else. Pulled memory and tried to boot without it, nothing but fan comes on. No beeps or anything. I then tested hard drive and its good but to be safe I put in a new one. Same thing happens. Fan comes on, but no boot screen at all. Tried hooking an external monitor to it, same result. What can be the issue with this thing? It was working fine then went to boot it up and nothing.

Did you install a guaranteed compatible memory module or did you just grab one that matched the memory specifications?

That still does not answer my question.
Are they guaranteed compatible memory modules or just some you sourced that match the memory type and bandwidth?
There is a difference. The difference is that you won't be wasting your time.
I suggest purchasing one guaranteed compatible 2GB memory module. Removethe modules that you already have installed and putting that new guaranteed compatible nodule in the slot closest to the center of the notebook. (that is usually slot 0)
My search for guaranteed compatible memory for your notebook. Click on the Crtucial RAM & SSD upgradees link.

Have you tried the modules individually?
If the notebook still won't boot with new modules, exactly like the Crucial CT1645734 unit, it means that the systemboard has a problem.
That woud lead me to sourcing another notebook to replace the mini with.
