I have a HP Notebook - 17-ca1012na and recently despite very little usage but religious updating and constant security protection with McAfee, the boot time has quadrupled over night. I also have a 17 Envy purchased at roughly the same time and has followed the same usage and updates remains the same, more or less instant boot up time. I accept they are different products but, there is a significant difference. Please advice if anyone can? I have uninstalled updates, I have uninstalled McAffee and also Defragged the HDD. I have also searched for viruses etc without success. HELP PLS.
