HP Recommended

Laptop was on but suddenly screen turned black. Not sure if the laptop fully turned off. Plugged in the charger as I assumed it was a power issue but laptop never turned back on.

 

- Power button lights up but screen is black. Fans don't turn on.

- Tried hard reset but still won't turn on

- Right now the power button and caps lock button seems to be in a loop -- power button light turns on, blinks 3 short blinks (white light), then caps lock light (white) turns on before it goes off then it repeats with the power button and caps lock button. Screen is still black. Power adapter is plugged in throughout all this. 

 

Update: removed the power adapter but it's still in the white light loop. Been that way for over 30 minutes now. It won't hard reset while in this loop.

 

Device is the HP EliteBook 830 G8 Notebook PC (26D50AV).

Please help me isolate the issue and suggest resolutions, thanks
