Last night I downloaded and installed new BIOS Firmware F33. Rev.A via the HP Support website(HP Omen 15: '2Y3L6AV').
It asked to reboot and then I went to sleep, when I woke up I noticed the laptop won't boot anymore.
What happens:
I press the power button, the power light goes on for 1-2 seconds and then goes off again. Display stays black.
The charger was plugged in all night and is still plugged in, the LED next to the charging opening is lit up in white.
Troubleshooting:
I tried holding the power button for 30 seconds and then starting. (with and without charger connected)
Unplugged charger, disconnected internal battery, held power button for 30 seconds, power button.
Plug in charger, hold power button 30 seconds, power button. (battery still disconnected)
Changes:
I did notice now the LED next to the charging opening is lit up in red, also for some reason the RAM was VERY HOT.
When I press the power button, the power led still lights up for 1-2 seconds but nothing happens on the display.
I would like to revert to previous BIOS version but it doesn't even load to BIOS.
I'm out of options, but hoping somebody still has any ideas.
