Omen 15-dc1088wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was using my Omen normally, gaming on it and it suddenly turned off with a whistling noise (this whistling noise can also be heard when I force power off my Omen sometimes). The laptop would not turn on but instead, the power button's red LED will blink. The LED is red for approx. 5 seconds and off for the same time. I've tried resetting the CMOS, or getting into BIOS recovery by that Win+B/V key method, nothing works.

@HrishiP Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the power button Red led is blinking.

As you have stated that you have already performed the troubleshooting steps.

In that case, I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Keep us posted,

If you would like to thank us for our efforts to help you,
