The error is summarized in the title.
Power up - black screen but LED on keyboard working, caps lock LED flashing 5 long and 3 short flashes indicating a motherboard issue.
Tried hard reset by holding a power button for 15 seconds.
The battery is fixed but I'm wondering if it's gonna be worth it to remove the back case to remove the battery and to try to power it up that way?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not booting to Windows and the caps lock light is blinking.
