Hello Community Team
I have a big problem with my laptop. It suddenly shut down, while saying HP has a problem, start automatic reperation. Then I did all the recommended back ups, but nothing worked.
Now when I want to start windows, I got the message:
No boot device found
Hardware (3f0)
After this message I pressed f2 and then run a HP PC Hardware diagnostics UEFI test.
As following the resuluts.
SMART Check: Passed
Long DST: Failed
Failure ID: GLX3GK-7718QX-MFPV7G-61F803
Hard Drive 1
I idiotically didn't back up my data and I really need them for my job. If you could help me out, I would really really really appreciate it.
Thanks and have a nice day

Hi,
You aee going to need to replace the hard drive with a 2.5" sata III drive and reinstall the OS with HP recovery disks or sith media downloaded from Microsoft,
You might be able to be able to recover your personal files by removing the hard drive and attaching internally on different desktop with sata cables or by using a sata to usb adapter. You most likely be able to retrieve the files from the drive. When opening the folders on the old drive it can take some time (even 10-15 minutes for old c: partition)
On page 66 of service manual you can see how to remove drive

Let me know if you need further help,
