My HP Pro Book 470 G3 had windows 7 installed, with a BIOS version of 01.05. It was charging properly until when I installed Window 10, and upgraded the BIOS Version to N78_0157. I have tried the following but all in vein;
to roll back to previous BIOS version but it only accepts a roll back to 01.55. Any other version returns a message BIOS update can not proceed because the System Administrator has locked the version
I have also tried a hard reset.
When the battery is connected to another PC of the system type, charges very well with the same AC adaptor. And the computer can power up perfectly on battery. However, when I connect the AC adaptor, white LED flashes 9 times on the power port, and the battery can't charge.
Your kind help please
