Product: EHP Pavilion - 15-cw1068wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
The stock battery is losing it's charge over time which means it's time to change. Since the HP battery is not price competitive and 2nd source ones give similar performance. I replace it the original usually with 2nd source ones. I have done this multiple times with multiple laptops over the decades, without issues. Now this laptop has a bios nagware style message about a non HP battery. Even though it will eventually allow boot up and operation, I would prefer to disable this BIOS notice. How can this be accomplished?
