HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p214dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My notebook was plugged in but wasn't charging and then just shut down and now won't start up or charge. The led by the power plug blinks white 3 times when I hit the power button. I've tried a hard reset but it didn't work. I've also booted into bios successfully but it says it needs to be plugged in to a charger to do the recovery. This is a notebook that I need/use for work and was pretty expensive and my boss is gonna be a little pissed. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

It could be a bad charger. Try leaving it plugged in for a few hours or overnight to see if it charges while shut down.

Thank you for your reply! I left it charging over night and nothing changed but when I used the charger for another hp notebook that I have it started charging again!
