As soon i could test this which will be this evening or this weekend i will let you know and if it solved the issue i can give it the solved mark. But i can't give it a solved mark if it has not been solved or properly tested. But i will let you know the results anyway even if it did not fixed and when i tried something els. I've already have an other idea to try fixing it but it will take much time since i will need to delete every file i have on the notebook and make a backup.

Hi, i wanna try something. i want to try without having my laptop use UEFI. How can i disable it so i can use legacy? Normally the way i did it in the bios it should have changed but when i do msinfo32 i still see my Bios is UEFI. Or being able to do a roleback of the BIOS. I tried but for some reason it doesnt let me boot from CD and the firmware updater doesnt let me access my cd to do it or let me roleback.

I rad the post. Please try to disable secure boot and enable legacy boot by following instructions that best match your current situation from this link: https://hp.care/2toG7cU Then try again.
If the issue persists, then it requires a one to one interaction with Hp phone support who will assist you in real time and may have multiple options here. Please follow the steps from my earlier post to contact HP phone support.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes. To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

I give up on it. I've looked around and this seems to be a very common issue.
I already did a lot of things and it still isnt fixed. Now i can't even return to win8.1 anymore.
And i refuse to pay for an issue that is well known and isn't the user's fault.
It indeed has something to do with the BIOS and some options that the manufactured put into the software.
This is a issue that not only HP laptops have but also DELL etc. And only happens with laptops because of the manufactured software or the Bios.
You just need to put in google: Notebook power led stays on afther shut down. And you get TONS of people having this issue all of the fixes or suggested fixes is indeed manufactured or BIOS bases. Sadly i can't open up the laptop to remove the cmos battery because of HP made sure no one els then them can open the laptop 😞 (it's a company ofc and also need to get income) Some people were lucky by disabling some stuff or removing manufactured software. Weird enough even though i could fix it before 2 times. I can't fix it now. Personally i know ALOT about computers and also my expierence with this issue before. And with all respect this is not a hardware issue.
Anyway Tyvm for all the time spend trying to help.
