Product: HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0068wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello.
A client brought me a laptop to replace the HDD with an SSD
HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0xxx
p/n 7MP87UA
system board 85FA
BIOS F.20
I updated the BIOS to version F.65, downloaded from the official HP website with a search by p/n.
BIOS F.65
Embedded Controller 42.47
Intel ME 12.0.93.2331
Video BIOS 86.07.82.03
USB Type-C Controller F7.07.10.06.07
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI 1.26.0.0
After updating the BIOS, it stopped booting from the SSD/HDD.
System Log 03F0 0500 0021 0502
When trying to install Windows 10 20H2, when selecting an installation disk, the installer reports:
Windows can't be installed on drive 0 partition 2. (Show details)
Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu. It does not allow flashing the BIOS to the previous version.
What to do? The computer is not working.
