HP Recommended

UPDATE:

I replaced the faulty RAM with a new RAM module from Crucial Memory. Windows now boots as normal. Albeit, I see there is a lot of disk being used in the resources panel in the task manager. For the first 15-20 minutes, the disk usage never goes below 99%. 

What could be the reason for that? CPU and Memory usage & performance seems optimal and normal.
