HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16-a0001la
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had my Pavilion Gaming 16-000 for two years now, barely for gaming at all. Recently I tried to boot it, but when the power button was pressed, nothing happened. The led adjacent to the charging port blinks thrice when pushed, but nothing else, no fan sounds, nor any noise indicating that it may have started with no display image. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery after removing the base enclosure, as the battery isn't external, but that didn't work either. The charger works normally, by the way. What could be the problem?

Apparently it was an issue with the electrical outlet I was plugging the charger to haha. However, it started charging as usual when I swapped the RAM slot to the other port. Don't think it had to do with the solution, but it's always useful to leave that information nonetheless, as I couldn't find what the led flashing thrice meant (the page on HP where I was meant to find it isn't available anymore).

I'm pretty sure that the battery died, and when I tried to plug it to my regular outlet the charger didn't receive any current. I panicked and didn't think that the problem could've been there all that time. My apologies.
