Hello, while using my laptop yesterday it turned off so I plugged in the charger cord, waited a minute and it wouldn’t start. I waited longer, nothing. Tried different outlets and tested other items to be sure outlets were working yet still nothing. I left it charged overnight but nothing has worked. No lights, no sound. It’s just past the 1 year warranty too. I tried holding the power button for 15 seconds and then re plugging the cord but that didn’t work either. Any suggestions?

That must be hard. Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand that your HP notebook is not working correctly. I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Notebook PCs - Computer Does Not Start: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01997899, No Power or no Boot and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
