Hi. it’s been a while since my last post, boy does time fly, just been too busy doing other stuff. Well I still have the Black screen problem. This is what I’ve tried..

1. Fitted the replacement screen cable, made no difference.

2. Rechecked the Motherboard for damaged components, all look visibly good.

3. Found two fuses on the Motherboard using Schematic drawings, both fuses good.

4. Checked the screen PCB for damage, none visible. Two fuses on the screen PCB both good. Both 20v and 3.3v are present. My understanding of electronics is a little limited so I cannot check anything electrical further. It’s not worth investing in replacement Motherboard and or Screen as the laptop must be 8 years old, however I am a little tempted to purchase some cheap RAM just to check. Apart from that when I use an HDMI connection to TV I see Windows loading and logon (No BIOS). All the LEDS light up, I have WI-Fi, the Keyboard works just fine. It’s a mystery. Well thank you for your help and time spent. Kind Regards.
