Hello,
Once I start my HP Pavilion g7 laptop I'm instantly seeing a black and blue screen that says "Enter Administrator Password or Power On Password". I don't remember setting this up, so of course after entering the incorrect password three times I get a message that says "System Disabled - Key: 51563490"
If anyone can help me get past this or figure out what is going on I would highly appreciate it!
Thank you,
Cody

I am a Cisco Certified Network Administrator, but I have not come up against this issue in my career thus far - almost makes me feel like I should go back to school. I'm just not sure how to proceed with getting into this computer. Unfortunately, I am not even able to enter the BIOS settings of this PC.

@DavidPK
THANK YOU!!! I have been researching how to get past this for hours now, and within a half hour you've resolved my issue; the code you provided worked perfectly! I still would like to understand how this happened, and what I should do the next time (if there is a next time) that this happens.
Could you please explain a bit further? Feel free to private message or email me if necessary!
Best,
Cody

Hi,
You're welcome
You should find the blog below of interest although the scripts will not work for Insyde 8 digit codes prefixed with a 'i'
