Hello everyone.

I'm posting my experience hoping it will help someone else.

I replaced the standard WD HD (mechanical) 1 TB with a new WD SSD Blue 2.5".

After cloning the original HD using Acronis for Western Digital to the new SSD connected via USB, I get a boot error from BIOS F30 no boot device. The SSD wasn't recognize from the BIOS. Reinstalling the "old" HDD it was booting without error.

I SOLVED this issue updating the system BIOS with the last available for my Laptop on HP site.

After updating the BIOS to F28, I reinstalled the new SSD and the system is now working fine (and faster).
