HP Pavilion x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-er0000 (23T75AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

is there any workaround for the Pavilion x360 not waking up in tablet mode when folded out and put into sleep mode?

I've spent enough time trying to find any solution on the internet, but I'm only reading two years old posts with no solutions.

So once again: i fold the machine out completely, it switches to tablet mode, i put the machine down, according to the setting it switches to sleep mode after 10 minutes. if i want to revive it again, there is no way to do it, because it does not respond to the keyboard (by definition, the keyboard is inactive when folded back). only by folding the keyboard back can the device be woken up and used again.

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Pavilion Laptop not waking up in tablet mode when folded out and in sleep mode.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Try Disable Fast Startup in power options
  • If issue still persist then do Reset PC Keep my files from windows and check if it works.

To disable Fast Startup, press the Windows Key + R to bring up the Run dialog, type powercfg.cpl and hit Enter. The Power Options window should appear. Click "Choose what the power buttons do" from the column on the left.

Scroll down to "Shutdown settings" and uncheck the box for "Turn on fast startup".

Note: If these options are greyed out then you may need to click "Change settings that are currently unavailable".

Click the "Save changes" button to apply the changes.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
