Is there a dedicated sleep button and/or keyboard shortcut to put the computer to sleep?

Using the power button is not a good option for the intended user and use of the computer.

@snowshed

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

To get the answer to this question, no dedicated button on the keyboard to put the computer to sleep,

However, there are a few methods which will make things easier:

Method 1

  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Select Hardware and Sound
  3. Navigate to Choose what the power buttons do
  4. Ignore the Sleep button option and configure the settings to your liking

Method 2

  • Press Windows key + X, followed by U, then S to sleep.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
