Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP ProBook 340 G3 laptop that gives 3 long beeps and two short beeps when I turn it on. Are the beeps signifying that there is a memory problem, or is it something else?

Hi,

Yes, this indicates a RAM problem. Have you replaced or upgraded the RAM?

you can try a power reset

You could try reseating the memory modules (removing and placing back in again)

If still not working:

If there are two modules you can try using just one module and if not working using the other one. You can also try each slot.

Hope it helps,

I have tried different known good memory modules in both slots but continue to get the same issue. Is it possible for a defective monitor to cause this problem or monitor circuit of the system board?
