My HP ProBook 445 G7 does not boot. When I press the power button it illuminates along with an amber F5 and F11 light. Then the CAPS lock and F10 light flashes white 5 times after which the CPU fan spins up and stay on constantly until the PC is powered of. There is also no display at all. I've tried holding the power button for 30 seconds to drain it with the power unplugged but no avail. I even went as far as open the case and disconnect both internal battery and cmos battery, and still nothing, it constantly does the above description. Please does anyone know how they can help?

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

 

(1) Double check with external monitor connected via vga/hdmi cable. Do you see boot screen and Windows loading ?

 

- Power off external monitor

- Connect vga/hdmi cable

- Power on external monitor

- Power on notebook
