Hi,
I have here a HP ProBook 450 G10 which does not boot. When I press the power button, nothing happens.

When I press and hold the power button for several seconds (e.g. 30sec) and release it, then the NUM LED and the charger LED turn on (even if no power supply unit is plugged in). After a few seconds the LEDs go off again, then they come on again after a few seconds and so on. (I have already tried it with another power supply unit.)

Questions:

Despite all my efforts, the fan never came on. Could it be that it is defective and that is why the device does not start?

Should it be possible to turn on this laptop when the bottom cover is removed?
