HP ProBook 450 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop shutdown randomly and when I go to turn it on, the power light comes on for a few seconds and then turns off.   If I let it sit for a while eventually I can turn it on but that has only been true for the last week.  Now it’s been almost a whole day and the machine will not turn on!  The light comes on and then goes off after a few seconds.

The screen is always black and never turns on (usually I can see the backlight come on before seeing the HP logo)

I see that its got about 29 days left of Warranty.  Who do I contact to get this fixed?

Thanks!

- Matt

I spoke to tech support on the phone.  When I power it on, the caps lock and num lock were blinking 5 times before the power would turn off again.

The person over the phone says that’s a power / logic board issue and setup a shipping box to come my way in a couple of days that I can put it in for them to fix.

Thanks HP for getting back to me!

For those interested, I called the [edit] number and they directed me to the ProBook support group.
