Hello HP Community,
I’m having trouble with my HP ProBook 640 G1
The issue:
The power button, along with the audio and hotspot buttons, continuously blinks with about a 4-second gap between each blink.
The screen doesn’t turn on, but it does give off a very faint and unrecognizable blink that syncs with the power button's blink.
The laptop does not boot or respond beyond this blinking behavior. It just keeps blinking continuously.
What I’ve tried so far:
1. Removed the battery and pressed the power button for 10 seconds.
2. Removed both the battery and memory (RAM), then pressed and held the power button for 30 seconds.
3. Tried powering on with just the AC adapter, without the battery.
4. Reseated the RAM and checked for loose connections.
5. Followed every troubleshooting step I could find online, including hard resets and LED code interpretations.
Despite all these efforts, the laptop still won't power on and just continues the same blinking pattern.
If anyone has experienced this issue or has any suggestions or insights, I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance!
