HP ProBook 640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a laptop from my company and the laptop is ProBook 640. Unable to install windows as admin password is required. There is no OS in thid device... It just has bios and i am unable to access the same. I tried various techniques on YouTube but unable to resolve. Please help.

Hi:

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

That was the only way it could be done.

 

Most HP business notebooks including the one you purchased, do not generate system disabled codes.

Also, removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.
