HP ProBook 6460b
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey dear community,

i recently had the opportunity to get hold of an old ProBook 6460b.

When trying to install a fresh copy of Windows I noticed that the former owner has set a BIOS password,

and that I couldn’t boot from USB.

When searching the web for help on how to reset the BIOS I found an old solution that appeared to be working back then, tho the links aren’t working anymore. So to get this ancient piece of hardware back to full use, as it is still decent spec for me I’m asking you guys for your help 🙂

I’m looking forward to your answers 😄

Greetings,

Leander_S
