I have an HP OMEN 17t-cb100 Laptop that I purchased in 2020. I am receiving a SMART Error 301, Imminent Hard Drive Failure Disk 1, when the boot loader hands off resources to the operating system. I can still access my Windows 10 64-bit desktop account. There have been no unexpected OS shutdowns, but the error message is persistent when booting.
Specifications:
2x 1TB NVME m.2 Hard Drives
1x 2TB SATA Hybrid Hard Drive
Of course, using the windows run box or CMD prompt and checking sysinfo, dxdiag, and whoami yield no help determining the id tag for the hard drive. If I check control panel>administrative tools>computer management>disc management I have disc 0, disc 1, disc 2. Disc 1 is an nvme m.2 drive with the operating system. Assuming the hard drive identifier for the error is the same as listed in disc management, is " Error 301" for an nvme m.2 drive and not SATA drives?

You need to run F2 Hardware Diagnostics UEFI to figure out which disk is failing. Please see the HP link below to follow the steps. Good luck.

It has been a while since I visited the topic concerning the imminent hard drive failure, however, I still receive the 301 SMART Error on occasion. I have checked the hard drive with the F2 key prompt during boot. The quick test states that all my hard drives have passed. There has been no noticeable reduced performance in the HP OMEN 17t laptop.
According to administrative tools, the HP 301 SMART Error is being detected on Disc 1. This disc is an nvme m.2 drive. I thought there might be an HP 311 SMART Error for m.2 drives, but I guess not. Should I consider chkdsk from cmd prompt to clear the error? I attached screen shots of the hardware check and it's resolution. I apologize for the image quality.

A text-based diagnostic you are running is a built-in tool in BIOS and HP provides a more advanced diagnostic, which is installed to the hdd/ssd drive.
My son's HP laptop has the Diagnostics UEFI (ver 9.1.0.0) on an M.2 SSD. See the screenshot below of the SMART check result. It provides drive's make (SanDisk) and model number.
I suggest you install this utility to your boot M.2 drive and run a SMART check on each of your three drives to identify a failing drive.
Here's a link for the diagnostics download site. Click on the "Diagnose PC Hardware Issues Outside of the OS" and scroll down to HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI (V9.1.0.0). In the process of installation, you'll be asked where to install: hard drive or usb, select hard drive. Upon installation, restart and enter F2 and go to Component Tests -> Storage -> Quick Test for a SMART check.
