I have a HP Spectre 15-eb1 x360 laptop that is having some serious issues. I first noticed yesterday after an Windows Update the computer would not boot normally and instead shows a black screen with "BIOS Corrupt - BIOS Recovery will start" display. It then proceeds to restart, and then displays a "BIOS Recovery Failed" error.
I tried to search online for a solution and found this article to create a bootable USB drive and attempted to boot into BIOS Recovery from the USB drive, however now matter how I pressed the key combinations (windows + b or windows + v with the power button), it would still repeat the BIOS Corrupt followed by the BIOS Recovery Failed errors and does not seem to be booting/ reading from the USB Drive.
Today when I tried to turn the computer on, it would not respond. Pugging the charger in doesn't seem to do anything and the normally lit "charging" light is not turning on at all. Any idea how I can get the laptop working again? Thanks!
