Installed HP UEFI diagnostics version 10.3.0.0 on a HP laptop, Product number 1KT93UA#ABA.  I am able to enter the UEFI diagnostics at startup by pressing F2, however it launches version 1.24.0.0. and not version 10.3.0.0. I tried installing version 10.3.0.0 a couple times and each time the install said it was "successful" but it starts the old version.  What is causing this??

So now HP released UEFI version 10.4.1.0.  Thought it may solve the problem in my original post here, however the newest version DOESN'T EVEN INSTALL.  I tried it on two laptops - the installation failed on both of them with error code 1722 "problem with Windows installer package".  Does HP check anything before throwing it out there?

NO comment from any HP "experts" here?  UEFI Version 10.4.1.0 does NOT install!
