Is there a way to change the UEFI BIOS boot logo on my victus 16? I have tried the powershell hp setfirmwarebootlogo and it gives an unknown error 3. I am really hoping to modify that logo to personalise my computer more.

@Onyxcho_Lune, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Customizing the UEFI BIOS boot logo on HP laptops like the Victus 16 is a feature that’s supported on select business-class systems, but unfortunately, it’s not officially supported on most consumer or gaming models, including the Victus series. That’s why you're encountering the "unknown error 3" when using the HP.SetFirmwareBootLogo PowerShell command, it indicates that the feature is not available on your system.
However, if your system does support it (rare for Victus), here’s the general method:
Prepare the Image:
- Format: .bmp
- Resolution: 1024x768 or smaller
- Name the file: Hplogo.bmp
Create the Folder Structure:
- On the HP_TOOLS partition (usually D:), navigate to:\Hewlett-Packard\Logo\
- If the folders don’t exist, create them manually.
Place the Image:
- Copy your Hplogo.bmp file into the Logo folder.
Enable Custom Logo in BIOS:
- Reboot and press F10 to enter BIOS Setup.
- Go to System Configuration > Boot Options.
- Look for Custom Logo and set it to Enabled.
- Save and exit.
Note: If the Custom Logo option is not visible in BIOS, your system does not support this feature.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
