HP ZBook 15 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all,

Is there a security feature stooping me from booting my HP ZBook 15 G3 from a USB thumb drive?

I've tried moving my USB thumb drive to the top of the boot order after hitting F10 getting into the BIOS. I know Dell has other options when trying to boot from another source.

Hi,

You will need to disable secure boot in Bios (and maybe enable legacy boot).

Hope it helps,

David

Same problem with my new zbook 17 G3.  I disabled secure boot and enabled legacy boot from the BIOS.  After doing this my thumb drive shows up in the boot menu, but when I select it I just get dumped back to the BIOS menu.  The thumb drive was created with YUMI and boots fine on my trusty old HP 8770w.
