I created Recovery for your bios (it possible only on hp book)

Extract it into root USB flash drive and use Win+B+PWR(3 sec)

DOWNLOAD

Okay, so I clicked on the DOWNLOAD button and there were three zip files. I downloaded all three of them and then extracted them onto a USB drive.

It looks like three different versions so I'm not sure what good all three of them do on one USB drive.

It seems like there should be more to it than just extracting them to the USB drive.

I inserted the USB drive into my laptop but it does not seem to recognize the fact that there is a USB drive in it when I start it so I'm not sure this would work even if I did the software part correctly, which I'm pretty sure I didn't.

WIN+R didn't work any better than WIN+B or WIN+V or WIN+B+V.

Thanks again for trying to help me but I am either not equipped to do this without step by step instructions or the motherboard is fried.

OK.

1. Format USB to FAT32

2. Extract one of archives into root USB (mast have 2 folders Hewlett-Packard & HP)

3. Off book and puut out battery.

4. Insert battery, USB and push Win+B+PWR or Win+V+PWR

5. If loose, try anover archives

Still doesn't work. What mechanism/process has to engage or run for the computer to recognize that there is a USB drive in one of its USB ports?

Whatever that is it's not running or booting. I'm not an expert but I'm not a beginner either. I'm guessing it is a hardware problem.

Combination Win+B+pwr starting find on any disk hp recovery tools for flash bios. If it finding this, starting process of writing bios binary into boot initialization controller. If you are seeing flashing CAPSLOCK, it mean binary failed validation check, or you very long push power button (must not longer 4 sec.)

I did the same very many times before got lucky after bad updating bios fron windows...

I'm only holding the power button for a second or two. How long am I supposed to hold the WIN+B buttons for?

before lighting display
