Please help. i was trying to install debian 12.9 on my Elitebook. and like debian did recognize and installed it on the main drive but the laptop could not boot from it, i tried making the system boot from what i think might be the main drive [eSata, OS boot manager, Notebook Upgrade Bay] and nothing, just keeps saying "bootdevice not found. please install an operating system to your hard disk." i even tried the laptop to boot it via legacy and UEFI Native and same thing. but it's probably my fault because i shut off the laptop while it was doing the secure erase without thinking twice and then tried to fix it by doing the disk sanitizer, and then reinstalling debian, did nothing. secure erase in the correct way and then reinstalling debian yet again. also did nothing aswell. like i don't think i bricked the hard drive because debian recognized and "installed" on it. and yet again tried doing what i did. go to BIOS and then blah blah blah and then boot options and make it boot from items in the list that may be the main drive and tried the laptop to boot it via legacy or UEFI Native yet again. and nothing, please help. am i the only one having this weird issue? [also for more information the drive im talking about is a 320 GB drive (ST320LT007-9ZV142) and the BIOS is saying that it's 0 GB]
