After powering on my laptop, I often receive an error of "checksum error press enter to reboot." When I reboot to go to the HP Hardware Diagnostics Tool app. The app loads to 50% and then stalls and does not load completely in order to use the app.
My particular laptop does not have a CMOS battery.

I have cleaned the laptop previously. I downloaded the software you recommended and can now access the UEFI Hardware Diagnostics from within Windows, but from the boot menu the hardware diagnostics stalls at 20%.
