My laptop abruptly shutdown while I was copying images. When I try to start it, I get an Automatic Repair message that flashes on and then black screen. I’ve tried multiple times to restart but same message flashes on and then shuts down   What else can I do?

Your laptop's abrupt shutdown during image copying, followed by a flashing "Automatic Repair" message and a black screen, suggests a potential problem with your operating system or hardware.

Possible Causes:
Corrupted System Files: The abrupt shutdown could have resulted in corrupted system files, preventing Windows from booting normally.

Hardware Issues: A failing hard drive, RAM, or other hardware components can cause similar problems.

Software Conflicts: A recent software update or installation could be interfering with the system's ability to boot.

Power Supply Issues: A failing power supply can lead to sudden shutdowns and boot problems

Just take it to a repair service center to check the problem.
