Hello,
my laptop won’t power on after a BIOS update. I have tried the (windows + B and power button) method I have viewed people speaking about but it’s still not powering on. Help please!!!

Hello @nicolewilsonnw
Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.
(1) Power off computer
(2) Disconnect charger
(3) Press and hold <power> button for 30 seconds
(4) Connect charger
(5) Use (another Windows computer) to create <USB flash drive>
If you are using INTEL processor:
HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors) | F.26 Rev.A | 31.2 MB | Aug 25, 2022 | Download |
If you are using AMD processor:
HP Notebook System BIOS Update (AMD Processors) | F.12 Rev.A | 12.1 MB | Jun 7, 2021 | Download |
Follow --->>> BIOS Recovery Reinstall with USB
(6) Repeat reflash procedures:
- windows + b <USB flash drive> not connected
- windows + v <USB flash drive> not connected
- windows + b <USB flash drive> connected
- windows + v <USB flash drive> connected
Keep me updated
Kind regards

Hello @nicolewilsonnw
If you don't have a second Windows computer and a <USB flash drive> ask a friend/neighbor/acquaintance to help you create the USB flash drive. Borrow a USB stick, this is only needed once for the bios recovery.
Keep me updated
Kind regards
