Hi @Ahmed246,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP Notebook - 15 is stuck in a reset and update loop after attempting a system reset. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Power off your notebook.
- Disconnect the charger and remove any peripheral devices (USB drives, external hard drives, etc.).
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the charger and power on the notebook.
Boot into Safe Mode
- Power off the notebook completely.
- Power on the notebook and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly to enter the Advanced Startup Options menu.
- Navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings.
- Click on Restart and then select Enable Safe Mode (usually option 4 or F4).
System Restore
- If you can boot into Safe Mode, go to Control Panel > Recovery > Open System Restore.
- Follow the prompts to restore your system to a point before the reset was initiated.
Repair Windows
- If Safe Mode doesn't work, enter the Advanced Startup Options again by pressing F11 during startup.
- Navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.
- Follow the prompts to repair Windows.
Reinstall Windows
If the above steps don't work, you might need to perform a clean installation of Windows.
Create a Windows Installation Media:
- On a working computer, download the Windows 10 installation media tool.
- Follow the instructions to create a bootable USB drive.
Boot from the USB Drive:
- Insert the USB drive into your notebook.
- Power on the notebook and press F9 (or the key specific to your model) to enter the Boot Menu.
- Select the USB drive to boot from.
Reinstall Windows:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows.
- During installation, choose to keep your files if possible.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
