HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been in IT full-time since 1989 - so I fixed A LOT of things.  I have been an IT instructor for the last 7 years for a College teaching A+, NEtwork+ Cisco FOA, Server......etc.
This HP Pavilion laptop RTL8822CE shuts off updating BIOS on boot, sometimes it gets almost the end sometimes only 10 percent.  I have unplugged the battery, hard drive and the M2 SSD. still some effect.  The laptop is not that old and is in good shape externally.   I almost guessing a heat issue, so next, it is getting put in the deep freeze for an hour then try it again.  Do you think HP would test their BIOS updates a bit better, is there a way to skip this process now it has started?
