Product: HP EliteBook 840 G8 Notebook PC (19X35AV)

When HP takes Laptops for repairs, would they usually wipe data off? My laptop won't turn on and it won't charge.  I'm sending the laptop to HP for repairs so I'm just wondering if my data would be lost.

Inform them you want the original disk drive returned to you.
