Hello. I've bought an older hp x2 notebook/tablet. The notebook work well, but i can't enter to the bios (settings) because it ask for password. Previous owner forget it unfortunately. So i can't update bios sw too (without password). Please help me.

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

 

That was the only way it could be done.

Most HP business notebooks including the one you have, do not generate system disabled codes.

 

Also, removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.
