Product: HP Laptop PC 14-dq2000 IDS Base Model

I have had this computer for 1 month and got the no hard disc error.  Ran storage diagnostic and said no hard drive installed.

I restored default settings for BIOS.  Same message occurs.

 

How do you update the bios if the system doesnt boot?  I downloaded a BIOS to a flash drive.  When I tried to follow the instructions "Update the BIOS with a USB flash drive". I open the UEFI menu and plug in the flash drive, but the PC doesnt open it and the Firmware Management option doesnt exist.  My options are:

Processor, Memory test, Storage tests, Power Tests, System Board Test, Keyboard Test, Language, and exit.

The BIOS version is 2.2.8.0.

 

At this point I have made no progress.  Thanks in advance for suggestions.
