Hi I am unable to start my PC. After I did the system check, I am getting the following error
Hard Drive Short DST Check : failed
Failure ID : 930ATQ-6PA833-MFPWXF-60T103
PRODUCT ID : E0K23UA#ABA
My warranty expired in Sep 2015. What replacement disj I can buy. Please advise.

Yes, Amazon has lots of laptop SATA hdd's.

A retail laptop/mobile SATA hard drive can be used-Western Digital,Seagate,etc can be used. Just be sure to get one of at least equal capacity as the original in order to use Recovery Media to install Windows & drivers/software. It can be larger, but not smaller capacity.
Your Specs show it shipped with a 1TB hdd which is what I would replace with.
Your model is not quite as easy to replace hard drive as some others- but can be done with help of the Maintenance & Service Guide here:

Yes that would work also. I would check warranty on any you look at, if that is important to you. Some have longer warranty than others.

If you boot from Recovery Media you do not need the key. If you did not make Recovery Media and do not want to order from HP you should be able to install using Windows dvd or usb flash. The key is embedded in BIOS and retrieved automatically.
